No Thomasian in the top ten...
Out of the 33 Thomasian examinees, 29 passed for 87.88% passing rate... making Santo Tomas the 2nd top preforming school...

Thomasian tops librarian boards
Sept. 26 2016, 9:55 p.m. - A THOMASIAN emerged as the topnotcher in the September 2016 librarian licensure examinations, as the University recorded a higher passing rate.
Leading the new batch of librarians was Thomasian Karl Emmanuel Ruiz who got a score of 89.90 percent. UST remained the second top-performing school with a 94.44-percent passing rate. Fifty-one out of 54 examinees made the cut. This year's passing rate was higher than last year’s 87.88 percent.
The University of the Philippines-Diliman was still the top-performing school, with all its 50 examinees passing the test.
This year’s national passing rate improved to 64.74 percent or 738 passers out of 1,140, from from last year’s 47.04 percent or 349 passers out of 742 examinees. Roy Abrahmn D.R. Narra

A THOMASIAN topped this year’s licensure examinations for librarians, while two other UST graduates landed in the top 10.
Apolonio Patron led the country’s new batch of licensed librarians with a score of 90.85 percent, results from the Professional Regulation Commission showed.
UST graduates Pauline Espiritu and Justin Joy Genton clinched the sixth and ninth spots with scores of 88.25 percent and 87.95 percent, respectively.
The University was named the second top-performing school in the librarian licensure exams, with a passing rate of 90 percent or 27 out of 30 examinees. This was slightly lower than last year’s 94.44 percent, or 51 out of 54 examinees.
State-run University of the Philippines-Diliman was named the top-performing school this year after obtaining a 100-percent passing rate.
The national passing rate for librarians dropped to 60.29 percent or 545 out of 904, from last year’s 64.74 percent or 738 out of 1,140.
